What a place! We went on the recomendation of our friend. It's really popular . We decided to eat there and we weren't disappointed...the food was amazing. Lebanese lamb was a special on the day...try it!! Melts in your mouth and full of flavour. If you like a bit of spice this is a must. The lasagne was also a big hit..but not for those with a small appetite although mum gave it her best shot. Staff were lovely too. Definitely going back.
Excellent and very old Robinson's pub, open daily between 12-15-00 which is very reasonable for walkers passing through this tiny hamlet! The unicorn bitter was on fine form today.
A hidden gem on an old trading route so do try to find it. Four Robinson's beers, had a half of each, no complaints. Don't let the dark furniture and red cushions fool you into thinking that the food is going to be all chicken in a basket and ploughman's lunch. The specials had some brave stuff, absolutely delicious Lebanese stew, plenty of it, and not at the stupidly high prices you will find in the Peak District proper. However, come with cash, as cards aren't accepted.
Tucked away and oozing the local pub feel from years ago. Good quality and tasty ale.. Sat and had a lovely few hours with friends while the kids ran around enjoying the ice lollies that are sold over the bar
This is just an amazing pub. Situated really really off the beaten track, it takes effort to get to but youre rewarded with a proper old school English pub. Top beer and lots of good outside space. Loved it. Went on my bike.
