Good company run good services Transpeak good well fited out buses between Buxton and Derby. The regular 199 service Buxton to Manchester Airport . They also have number of smaller buses to Glossop Sheffield regular service Maccelsfield via Buxton then on to Bakewell and Chatsworth house. Some services very populAr others less so. Fares reasonable. Buses in good overall condition. Most drivers friendly helpful . Company has mixed reputation. 199 are nearly always late in daytime road works. Some also breakdown. Night time after 6pm service runs 9n time.
The staff are brilliant and you'll get all the help you need to get on the bus by lowering the floor. Which means a lot when you are disabled.

The 199 route is great. Always turn up, no matter what the weather. The drivers are caring and very considerate. They are usually very happy and chatty. As I catch this bus regularly either going to Buxton or Stockport it is a life saver for people like myself.
