Cute Little Church. Situated on a hillside this Church has one of the finest views in the district.It looks over the beautiful Goyt Valley to the wooded hills. The church was built in 1871. Less than a mile from the church was an important gunpowder mill.The church sits on the edge of the Peak National Park: the spa town of Buxton is just six miles to the South. Situated on a hillside. There is an hourly train service to Stockport and Manchester and this service also serves Manchester Airport.Important restoration work was carried out during 1989 and 1999.*****
